What do you think about when choosing a photographer? Sometimes, it may be that you know me and it's convenient for me to take your pictures because you know the atmosphere will be relaxed and enjoyable. Great! Other times you don't know me at all, but you've heard about me somehow from someone else. Even better. However, people don't choose a photographer based on the photographer's personality all the time. You look at the pictures produced to see if it meets the needs of what you're going for. Well, I hope you've found your "home away from home" when stopping by.

It's funny to know just how I got into this. You see, I'm a high school English teacher full time and simply enjoy the art of photography as a passion and desire. I could've been a lot of different things when choosing a major in college, and my background of the fine arts will never leave me. It's what keeps me going and what makes me appreciate everything about this crazy world of ours.

When booking a session with me, you'll need to know a few things. I like to make sure you're happy. That's a first and an always in every situation. I'm not a person that likes to disappoint. I also like to make sure you have any and all questions answered so you're "in the know" with what's going on prior to the session date. I will guide you along, as needed, to make the session enjoyable and easy. You shouldn't stress...although I find my clients are the ones who get anxious more so than me. I'm calm and flexible with every situation and I want you to come away from the session relieved that it's over...yes, but also believing in me to capture those precious memories and personalities just for you. Oh yea, and know that I'm quick and keep the pace steady. No boring session with me. I'm always on the go and I get excited often when I come across something that works for the session. And no worries, I'm not fast in the sense of getting you out of the way so I can go home. No sir. I'm fast because I know you want every opportunity to get the most out of your session. So I take many pictures for the duration of the session and then it's my job to look over them all and provide you with wonderful photographs. Bottom line: I want you to be pleased and to return, while also spreading the word about KBP. I love photography and want to share my excitement for every facial expression with you!
